Minneapolis Titans serves kids who live or attend school in North Minneapolis, NE Minneapolis, SE Minneapolis, Downtown Minneapolis, Brooklyn Center, Columbia Heights, and Fridley.
Calling all area kids ages 4-12 who are new to ice skating!
Minneapolis Titans Learn to Skate program is the perfect way for beginners to learn the basics of skating and hockey. Kids will build confidence on the ice through coach-led sessions that are specially tailored to new skaters. Sessions follow Learn to Skate USA curriculum.
Each one-hour practice session emphasizes having a good time while making new friends and building lifelong skating skills. The focus is squarely on having fun and getting the kids comfortable on the ice.
This weekly program typically meets on Sunday afternoons at Parade Ice Garden or Northeast Ice Arena. A specific schedule will be shared upon registration or questions may be directed to the Learn to Skate Coordinator.
Equipment can be provided while supplies last. Well-fitting ice skates and a helmet are all you need. A bike helmet will suffice.
Registration fee is just $20, and then you will be charged $35 on the first of every month for program participation. Cancel anytime. Registration includes an annual membership to Learn to Skate USA.
