Welcome to the Titans & Starwhals Rink Rats program – a City of Lakes Youth Hockey initiative that encourages skating and player development outside of the association’s formal practice/game schedule.
All our players love to skate, and the Rink Rats program recognizes those Titans and Starwhals who log hours of additional ice time throughout the season, between October 1 and March 1. Titan/Starwhal players can skate solo or with family and friends at their neighborhood park, backyard rink, or indoor open skating event, and as they do, they can mark their hours on the tracking sheet to the right.
Once a skater submits the completed tracking sheet showing the additional hours, they’ll receive a one-of-a kind jacket patch. Reminder – the hours have to happen beyond official team practices/games.
Minis should log 15 hours, Mites 20 hours, Squirts 25 and Pee Wees 35 hours to qualify.
We’ll see you out on the ice – Go Titans & Starwhals!
